I’m Chloe. I was born in Taiwan, lived in Cambridge (the one in UK) for a year as a kid, did high school in Pittsburgh and college at UC San Diego, then went back to Taiwan to work first in sales operations, then as a data analyst. I’m now in Ann Arbor, finishing a Master’s in Information at the University of Michigan.
The throughline, when I look back, is curiosity that doesn’t fully respect disciplinary boundaries. I came to data from economics. I took cognitive science and HCI classes for fun. I read about things I have no professional reason to know.
What this site is
A portfolio and a place to write. Mostly essays, occasional notes from coursework, the rare thing about whatever I’ve been listening to or reading. I write to find language for all things complicated and blurry.
